If we determine that the vehicle needs a replacement, in the initial phase, we disconnect all electrical components, including the transmission wiring harness, sensors and shift lever cable.
During the initial removal phase, we dismantle the torque converter and immediate shaft, drain the transmission fluid, and remove the unit. We then begin to install the new or rebuilt transmission in the reverse sequence, with meticulous attention to alignment and torque specifications. Once we’ve installed the new transmission, we add new fluid to the transmission and begin comprehensive testing including computer diagnostics and road testing. Due to the complexity and precision required, this procedure should only be performed by qualified professionals in a properly equipped facility.
